I’ve lived in Nashville, TN since 2008. I’m originally from northern Indiana where I grew up in a low income, minority neighborhood. I’m the first person in my family to graduate with a college degree. I continued on with post graduate education and for the last 15 years, I’ve worked as a self-employed, entrepreneur.
My work history and experience as an entrepreneur ranges from owning retail boutiques, engaging in mass production and importation, warehouse management and distribution, and various levels of sales and marketing. I am also heavily involved in various realms of real estate. I am a broker and investor engaging in Multifamily syndication, JV investments, and real estate development.
As a female, Hispanic entrepreneur, I love being a US citizen because I truly believe that the American dream is real. I know, because I have lived it! Growing up in a low-income, Mexican American community, there was little opportunity for advancement. But by the grace of God, with hard work and discipline, I was able to change the trajectory of my life for myself and my family. I am passionate about the entrepreneurial spirit and our opportunities to flourish in innovation and prosperity. Real estate provides me continued opportunity for advancement and growth.
